Power	Error	Beeps	Error Condition	Solution
Off	Off		No Power
On	Off		Ready
On	On	1	Paper Pickup Error or out of paper	Add Paper or clear paper jam and press the RESUME button
On	Blinks	2	Low Ink Warning
On	On	2	Paper Jam	Clear paper jam and press the RESUME button
On	On	3	BJ Cartridge Check	Insure a Print head is installed or check installation of the print head
On	Blinks	4	Low Battery Warning	Recharge the NiCAD battery
On	On	4	Cartridge Mismatch	Wrong type of cartridge is installed, (ie) Is scanner cartridge installed at time of printing
On	Blinks	5	Waste Ink Warning	Press RESUME to continue, though the printer will require a service.
Blinks	Blinks	Long + Short	Low Battery Error	Recharge the NiCAD battery if this fails replace the NiCAD
Blinks	Blinks	1, 2	ROM / RAM or EEPROM fault	Try unplugging the printer for 20 seconds, if this doesn't work then requires service
Blinks	Blinks	3	Cartridge out of position	Try reinstalling or replacing the cartridge, if this fails then it requires service

Blinks	Blinks	5	Waste Ink Full	Requires service
Blinks	Blinks	6	Temperature Error	Try replacing the Print head, if this fails then the printer requires service

Blinks	Blinks	8	Temperature Error	Try replacing the Print head, if this fails then the printer requires service

Blinks	Blinks	11	EEPROM	Try unplugging the printer for 20 seconds, if this doesn't work then requires service

Waste Error Reset

1: Unplug Power Cord
2: Hold POWER and RESUME buttons
3: Plug in Power Cord
4: Release buttons after the printers starts up
5: Hold CARTRIDGE and RESUME
6: Press POWER
7: Release all buttons after the beeps
8: Press CARTRIDGE 16 times
9: Press RESUME
10: Unplug the Power cord
